Welcome

Greetings.  It has been a few months since school doors closed.  Have you heard the adage “when one door closes another one opens”?  When faced with the choice between waiting for something to happen to put you back on track and doing something about it… the choice can be easy. Take the reins, make the most of this time and get. These pages are dedicated to helping you proactively help yourself.

Mission

To virtually mentor students from Buffalo Public Schools in the BEGREEN and BESOLAR P-TECH programs.  To heighten student professional and technical development with strategies that are informative, fun, and self-paced.

Behind the Scenes

A message from Tyra J. Hux

Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about the Junction Online.  For several years, I have worked with Buffalo Public Schools students, creating activity and career-focused programs that help accelerate youth towards opportunities in construction, manufacturing, and computer technology.  From experience I have learned that the combination of fun and knowledge exploration is a solid foundation to help young people access opportunity.

While I understand this is a challenging time for students, it my desire to help them to grow and seize opportunity regardless of circumstances. This website is dedicated to the inspiring students I have had the pleasure to work with.  I hope it will assist them to reach their goals and beyond.
